Red acne. How to get rid of them?

Red acne is a type of papulopustular acne. These are inflamed formations of a conical or hemispherical shape, slightly protruding above the surface of the skin. In places of the greatest localization of formations of this kind, cheeks, nose wings, and temples are most often. Less commonly, red acne can occur on other parts of the body.  

The initial stage is characterized by redness of the skin, then the formation of pustular acne red. They are quite painful and cause severe itching. The rash of papules resembles a wave-like – either calming down, then resuming.

Reasons for starting the process

Most often, the appearance of red acne indicates a violation of the normal functioning of the body. First of all, this is a malfunction in the digestive or endocrine system, but in addition there are a number of other factors contributing to the development of the disease. Among the most likely reasons, experts call:

– smoking;

– addiction to fried, fatty and salty foods;

– frequent use of alcohol;

– stressful conditions;

– violation of the sebaceous glands;

– pore contamination;

– genetic predisposition;

– individual chronic diseases.

In order to eliminate red acne, you must first find out the cause of their occurrence and eliminate it. Only after this can we begin to combat the external symptoms of the disease.  

First you need to review your diet. Fried, fatty, smoked food must be excluded. The use of confectionery and flour products is minimized. The consumption of milk, tea, coffee, chocolate and potatoes – to limit. A large amount of fruits and vegetables should be present in the diet. Useful cereals on the water. It is better to replace bread with gray and black grades or crackers. It is also necessary to maintain the body’s water balance by consuming at least 1.5-2 liters of water per day.

In the fight against red acne, it will be advisable to conduct an analysis for the presence in the body of a sufficient number of trace elements. Lack of minerals and vitamins, especially vitamins A, C and E, sulfur and iron, can cause acne. Therefore, this omission must be eliminated.

Treatment methods

For the symptomatic treatment of red acne, various masks and traditional medicine are effective. A wonderful effect helps to achieve:

– regular skin cleansing with steam baths using medicinal herbs (chamomile, sage, St. John’s wort);

– washing with warm decoctions of herbs (mint, pine, calendula, chamomile);

– rubbing rashes with fresh aloe juice;

– the use of masks based on lemon juice (mix lemon juice with egg white and apply to inflamed skin for 20 minutes);

– regular use of a mixture of an equal amount of honey and cinnamon as a mask will quickly relieve acne (such a mask is done every other day, applied to the skin for 20 minutes);

The use of clay masks gives a good absorbent result. Green or white clay is diluted with water to the density of sour cream and applied to the skin for 20 minutes. White clay can be mixed with lemon juice, green – with cinnamon. A clay mask draws excess fat, thereby preventing the formation of acne, the pores are narrowed, the complexion is leveled.

Various essential oils have a positive effect on red acne . They can be added to clay masks, or diluted in base (olive or sunflower) oil and wiped with face. Good for red acne: tea tree oil, cloves, peppermint, lavender, rosemary and avocado.  

Of the pharmacy preparations, antimicrobial ointments (Zenerit, Baziron and others) will help in the treatment of skin inflammations, but you can not use them for a long time because of possible addiction. For the complete removal of red acne, it is advisable to conduct a comprehensive treatment of the body, affecting the cause of the appearance both outside and inside.
