Childhood, adolescence, youth … Goodbye , acne

The laws of attraction

Any woman wants to be beautiful and stay young for many years. For a long time, the fair sex has been looking for an elixir of eternal youth, which would forever preserve their attractiveness. The famous beauties of the past not only left behind legends, but also discovered some recipes for their unfading beauty.

The Egyptian queen Cleopatra mixed honey and aloe powder with water, settled on silver, and applied this emulsion to her face. The Marquise de Pompadour, the favorite of Louis XVI, had thin and dry skin, and for its smoothness and freshness, she made masks with cream, whipped proteins and lemon extract. Agnes Sorel, the beloved of Charles Seven, added honey to her face creams. The famous courtesan Ninon de Lanclosdaily wiped her face with a piece of suede soaked in boiled water. Old Russian beauties used ice water from a silver jug for washing and shone for a long time with delicate elastic skin and an excellent complexion. The findings of scientists have confirmed the wisdom of our great-great-grandmothers. The effect of such washing is explained by the tonic effect of cold and the bactericidal properties of silver, which are many times higher than the properties of carbolic acid, chlorine, furacillin , and potassium permanganate.

The laws of attractiveness are the same for queens, favorites, and modern women. This is a slender figure, radiant eyes, long eyelashes, thick hair, clean smooth skin for many years. But even young, barely blooming girls have skin problems. Strictly speaking, this problem lies in inflammation, acne (acne) and other “delights” of this age.

What, where, when and why?

All these “gifts” appear as a result of hormonal changes in the body. During puberty, the intensity of the sebaceous and sweat glands increases. Sweat opens the pores and the sebum is released. When the sebaceous glands begin to secrete too much sebum, seborrhea develops. The skin becomes oily and shiny. The removal of sebum to the outside makes it difficult for the walls of the ducts from these glands to harden. The accumulation of sebum and dead cells in the blocked duct leads to acne. When exposed to air, sebum oxidizes and darkens. This is how the so-called “black points” appear.

Also, sebum neutralizes the acidic environment of the skin, thereby contributing to the vital activity of microorganisms, which are the direct cause of the appearance of hated acne and acne. Sometimes the receptors of some skin cells are too sensitive to hormones, which also provokes the appearance of acne. Since acne is a disease of the sebaceous glands, it occurs where they are located, which means on the face, on the upper back and to a lesser extent on the upper chest. Girls face this unpleasant problem at about 10-11 years old, and boys – a little later, at 12-13 years old. In principle, acne disappears by the age of 20-25, but sometimes they persist for life. Nowadays, late acne, which occurs by the age of 25-30, has become a frequent occurrence. As a rule, this is due to the prolonged use of too oily cosmetics or a genetic predisposition.

In addition to all of the above, hereditary factors play a role. Do not forget about proper nutrition. Chocolate and fatty foods are most often blamed for acne, but no direct connection has been found between them. Stress can also cause acne.

Combat rules

Of course, the fight against acne should be started as early as possible to prevent scarring. A clinical complication is the formation of boils, which will need to be opened, because otherwise they can cause irreparable scars. Therefore, even if we are talking only about two or three pimples, it is necessary to start treatment. Only then can all local treatments help. If we talk about methods, then there are only two types of them: products (ointments, gels or lotions) applied to the skin, and drugs taken by mouth. When choosing a treatment method, you need to listen to the advice of a dermatologist, he will determine the severity of the disease and prescribe the appropriate medicine. However, both methods of treatment can be recommended.
However, regardless of the method chosen, the result will be noticeable only after a few weeks. Even after the acne disappears, it is better to continue the treatment at long intervals, otherwise acne may reappear.

There are four simple rules for proper care of problematic youthful skin. So, the first rule (and most important!): You should never neglect the daily skin cleansing, especially with the constant use of decorative cosmetics! For cleansing, you can use milk, gel or scrub with vitamin C, which gently exfoliates dead skin cells, removes dirt and grease. It is ideal for oily skin and skin prone to inflammation. The skin will get an even relief and smoothness, and vitamin C will heal skin damage faster.

Rule two (important): remove the remnants of the cleaner together with the dissolved dirt and grease only with a tonic, otherwise the pores will become clogged. It will restore the acid-base balance and prepare the skin for the application of medicinal products. The main principle for choosing a tonic: the less alcohol, the better. By the way, instead of a tonic, you can use mineral, filtered or melt water, the effect will be the same.

Rule three (main): the remedy must be applied to the prepared skin both in the morning and in the evening. The same applies to her nutrition and hydration. The Hirudo Active series anti- acne matting cream will have an antibacterial effect, improve the microcirculation of blood in the skin, eliminate oily sheen and dry the skin. The day cream will moisturize and protect the skin from harmful sun rays, wind, cold, and the night cream will nourish it during sleep and support natural regenerative processes.

Rule four (last): twice a week you need to pamper your skin with a cleansing mask. It will deeply cleanse the pores of the skin, narrow their size, get rid of oil, thereby preventing inflammation and acne. Thus, excess oil will be balanced, and the skin will return to normal and become clear and smooth.

But you should not be limited only to the above measures,
it is better to maintain cosmetic care with proper nutrition and daily routine. Vitamin A is especially needed for healthy skin, which is found in fish oil, liver, butter, cream and egg yolks. In general, fish should be included in the diet, especially lightly salted salmon and herring. An alternative to fish can be fish oil capsules. With the constant use of semi-finished products, you must take nutritional supplements. And brewer’s yeast takes the first place here. They are a natural concentrate of amino acids, minerals and vitamins and restore disturbed metabolism. An alternative to yeast can be a complex of B vitamins together with pantothenic acid.

No less than proper nutrition, the daily routine is also important. Seven to eight hours of sleep and fresh air in the bedroom are absolutely essential for beauty. In the morning and in the evening, you should not neglect the contrast shower; during the day, if possible, you should avoid fried and fatty foods. Once a week, you can arrange a holiday for your skin and visit a sauna, or make a bath with essential oil of bergamot or lemon with sweet almond oil. Bergamot will reduce pore size, even out complexion, cleanse and refresh the skin, while lemon will restore the acidic natural environment of the skin, which will prevent microorganisms from multiplying, soften and slightly whiten the skin.

Unfortunately, these problems are not always solved only by cosmetic means, for example, when hyperkeratosis occurs, which is a thickening of the upper (stratum corneum) layer of the epidermis. It interferes with the free release of sebum from the pores, which causes inflammation. As a result, closed enlarged pores – comedones – are formed . In this case, ultrasonic cleaning can help, which will remove all dead skin cells and “pull” excess sebum from the clogged pores. The next procedure can be hardware needleless mesotherapy. Its essence is as follows: a medicinal preparation is applied to the skin, and with a nozzle, using a stream of pure oxygen, it is injected into the skin. The anti-inflammatory and antiseptic effect of oxygen on the skin will have a beneficial effect on its condition. As a last resort, you can resort to phototherapy for acne. A positive result already a week after the first procedure is provided by the new technology of pulsed light and heat energy.

It is also necessary to remember about the harmful effects of bright sunlight on diseased skin. Exposure to sunlight makes the skin thicker and blackheads dry out and become less visible. But as soon as the sunburn disappears, they will reappear and the acne will become even worse. In other words, at the end of September, acne will be much more noticeable than at the end of May. The same applies to the solarium, which is so popular today. Therefore, people suffering from acne should definitely use milk or liquid cream while in the sun. On the first day, it is better to apply a full protective layer to exclude the possibility of sunburn, and then you can use a non-greasy cream with a less intense coefficient of action.

And finally …

And finally, I would like to recall the statement of Diana de Poitiers, a longtime favorite of the French king Henry II, who preserved her beauty and youth until the end of her life. So Diane de Poitiers believed that you can’t look young, just making a mask a couple of times and using lotion. Diana herself obeyed a strict daily routine all her life. In the morning she took a cold bath, then went on horseback riding, returned and rested again. Well, Diana was engaged in state affairs in the afternoon. In addition, she did not drink alcohol, believing that her face swells from wine. The lovely Diana was right. Beauty and unfading youth require constant care. Skin is a mirror of age, and you need to take care of it from your youth. Well, youth should not be overshadowed by any skin problems. But the main secret, according to Diana, was that she never thought about old age. Take care of yourself from a young age and never think about old age!
